BREAKING BARRIERS. BUILDING FUTURES.

The Women of West Harlem Summit was a groundbreaking event that equipped attendees with the tools and resources needed to overcome obstacles, gain valuable job skills, and build sustainable careers, regardless of race or gender.

The summit featured impactful panel discussions, including "Breaking Barriers: Stories of Resilience," where justice-impacted women shared personal narratives of career success and strategies for overcoming challenges. Another panel, "Career Development Strategies: Navigating Opportunities," offered expert insights on pathways to success for individuals impacted by the criminal legal system.

Participants engaged in hands-on workshops covering financial literacy, digital literacy with Google, resume writing, job skill training, entrepreneurship, and public speaking, all facilitated by community industry experts.

The event provided invaluable networking opportunities with justice-impacted women, industry leaders, and community members, while also offering in-depth knowledge about The LOHM programs and access to informational booths from local businesses and organizations.

Attendees were inspired by the keynote speaker and panel sessions, which delivered powerful insights to empower justice-impacted women and individuals in transition. The WE Nation Reentry Summit also featured special treats such as photoshoots, swag bags, money giveaways, computer prizes, access to employers, resources, and much more.

This event was truly an empowering and activating experience for all who attended.
