FAQs
The fellowship is offered two times per year and serves two cohorts of women. Below is a sample schedule for 2025:
- Spring: Feb-June
- Fall: Aug-Dec
Applications accepted all year. If a cohort has reached capacity you will be added to a waitlist for the next cohort.
We recruit women throughout the United States based on the city and state where we have employer partners. We have limited spaces for each cohort; therefore, only completed applications are considered. Interviews are conducted before selections are made.
The women go through a workshop series and spend up to four (4) hours per week on activities as follows:
- Weekly virtual workshops on Tuesdays from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. (Eastern Time) and completing assignments.
- Customized career planning and job search in their chosen career pathway with employers.
- Career transition support through educational resources and mentoring.
- At the end of each cohort, women will receive a certificate of completion and become part of a nationwide fellowship network of over 100 women.
Yes, a monthly stipend of $355 is paid based on four (4) hours per week spent on required activities during the cohort period.
We meet virtually each week using the Zoom or Google Meets platforms. Women selected need a desktop or laptop computer and have reliable internet access.
All of the workshops are customized and designed to refine the strengths and skills women already have. Workshop topics include: Personality, Strengths, Skills, Passion, Purpose, Emotional Intelligence, Career-level Resumes and Interviews, Career Trends, Exploration and Planning, Strategic Job Searches, Networking, and Mentoring.
